Susan Wenger arrived in Nigeria in 1950 and this marked the beginning of her involvement with Yoruba religion. Prior to this however, she has always been strongly attracted by nature, especially the divine nature of trees. She spent much time in nature while growing up and this remained an indispensable source of energy for her till to date.
