Simple technology: Manufacturing of arrows

The Ona man makes his bow’s rope out of guanaco’s tendon. They’re chewed for a long time. Then he twists and plaits them. The arrow’s end is made of glass and fixed to the wood with guanaco tendon. The fletchings are made of feathers by careful hands. The Ona have incredibly healthy white teeth, but the incisive ones are completely flat, because of the guanaco tendons they chew in order to make arrows.
